What does it mean to realize that creativity exists all around you?
A million tiny things can spark inspiration for a scene, a book, an entire series or trilogy. A news story begins a cascade of “what if” questions in your mind. A comment by a friend or loved one sparks an idea.
It means there’s no shortages of ideas, just a shortage of time to write. A writer needs to practice discernment in determining which ideas are ready to pursue and which need time to marinate for a little longer before they’re more fully formed. Some ideas never seem to happen at all, and for those, it’s okay to release attachment to them and let them go. They weren’t your ideas; they belonged to someone else.
A creative mind seeks inspiration from the daily world. Take time to notice the small things. Watch nature, whether it’s wild or domesticated. Sometimes the smallest insect can provide insights into our fictional worlds if we’re open to seeing and receiving them.[/vc_column_text][vc_btn title=”Receive creativity affirmations in your inbox every week.” color=”orange” size=”lg” align=”center” button_block=”true” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Feponaauthorsolutions.com%2Fcreativity-affirmations%2F%23form”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
