[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]This time of year there starts to be a lot of talk about planning the new year. I’m seeing people talk about how to plan, ways to plan, and why their way is sure to bring you fame and fortune beyond your wildest imagination. Don’t worry. None of that here. Just some straight talk about planning your year.
It’s okay if you don’t have a go-getter power plan for 2021.
Look, we’ve been through a lot this year, some of us more than others. It’s been one hell of a year, and honestly, there’s a lot of uncertainty for 2021. I’m seeing people offering discounts for conferences next year, and yet there’s some question as to whether America will have the pandemic under control enough to resume “life as normal”. If you don’t want to put something on your schedule that quite possibly won’t happen due to the current situation, I don’t blame you. And you shouldn’t blame yourself.
If you don’t know what’s going to happen next week, or the week after if you and your family are still on holiday break, then planning an entire year seems a bit daunting. Planning an entire year, where you crush your goals and make it happen? Exhausting.
So I’m here to tell you that you can plan as much, or as little, as you want for the year. Do what you feel comfortable with. If you can stretch yourself, go for it, because that’s never a bad thing. But if you just want to take things as they come, then that is okay too. There’s nothing wrong with that, not when the world is a dumpster fire floating down a flooded river in the middle of a hurricane.
I’m going to talk in my Facebook group probably later on this week or early next about some things you can do for year end planning. But in the mean time, remember that only you know what’s happening in your life, and if you don’t have a plan, it’s okay. I promise you.[/vc_column_text][vc_zigzag color=”orange” el_width=”70″][vc_column_text]Subscribe to our newsletter and receive our free gift, Social Media Header Magic.
