[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Last week I spoke about how we need to be careful not to push our goals away from us. Sometimes we try too hard to make things happen that we shove them away. I had a situation like that, where in the end, while I won’t know for about a month, it looks like it’s going to turn out so much better than I ever imagined.
One of the ways we keep from pushing our goals away from us is to think positive. I know, I know. That’s a phrase that has been misused a lot, especially during pandemic year. But bear with me.
I don’t know how this is going to work out, but I believe it will work out for the best.
That phrase, or something similar, is a great tool to help keep you positive and moving forward–not mired in the past or in any doom scenarios. I didn’t know how this situation was going to work out. And yet, I trusted it would. Somehow it would come to pass and somehow everything would work out.
It’s okay that you don’t know the answers. Acknowledging that it’s okay is a powerful first step. It’s okay to not know, and in fact, I think we’re wiser when we do know what we don’t know. That allows us to move forward from a place of openness and from a place of believing.
It’s tough to think positive when things aren’t working out. We all have difficulties with this. And yet, if we can focus on what is working and be open to possibilities, sometimes it’s amazing what can happen.
