Feeling as if your mental health is affecting your writing?
Looking for strategies from someone who has been there?
Mental health has become an even larger issue during the COVID-19 pandemic, but the truth is a lot of us struggled even before. I’m not a licensed counselor, just someone who has been in the trenches just like you. If you feel as if you can’t write, or your mental health is preventing you from pursuing the publishing goals you dream about, then you’re in the right place. Join me for an hour as I share tips and tricks that work for me, ways to find community, and how to keep yourself supported when you really don’t feel like self-care.
Come join others and find support and community.
Sign up for Mental Health and Writers. You’re not alone.
Sunday, August 22, at 1pm Central Time (2pm Eastern/11am Pacific)
In this one hour event you’ll discover…
- You’re not alone! Lots of writers and creatives struggle with mental health.
- Hashtags and communities of support — where and how to find them
- How to cultivate a way to make writing your “happy place” so you can stay creative and productive
- The power of rest and allowing yourself to feel
- Some favorite tips and tricks from people just like you to try and break out of the tough days
It’s no secret mental health care in the US, and around the world, is lacking. And when you’re creative, all the pressures of the publishing industry (or art world) can only make things worse. My hope is that you’ll come away from this webinar feeling empowered, inspired, and that you’re not alone.
