Length: Up to 90 minutes to include time for a Q&A
Recording available to all paid attendees
With the race toward free/low-priced books authors are left with slim profit margins (and they’re even slimmer for publishers with extensive overhead.) In today’s market, we want to maximize reader value, but also recover costs and earn income. So what’s a writer to do?
This talk is geared toward self-published authors who are thinking about their pricing strategy and wondering how they should price their books.
Format: About 30-45 minute presentation with time left for questions and answers from those attending, either live or submitted beforehand up to a full 90 minutes.
This talk is part of the Unbridled Authors Program and is currently offered on a sliding scale.
- Full price is $12, with additional amounts accepted to help subsidize those who need to pay less.
- Half price is $6 and is designed for underemployed, those with significant debt, or other financial hardship
- Quarter price is $3 and is designed for those facing additional challenges.
- If you cannot afford $3, please contact me.
All attendees will gain access to this session through a live zoom meeting as well as a recording available through the Epona Authors Academy.
About the Unbridled Authors Program & Sliding Scale
Unbridled Authors is a membership program launching soon. However, given that the program hasn’t launched yet, I’m making a limited number of these talks open to everyone on a sliding scale. The program will launch at $29/mo and these talks will be an ongoing part of it along with additional resources and the pricing of this sliding scale program reflects that. Participating in this talk in no way obligates you to join the program. I am simply offering transparency.
A sliding scale is a tool of economic justice. I’m well aware that in the publishing community there are a wide range of incomes. And while we all deserve to get paid for our hard work and time, I also understand that sometimes things may seem out of reach. My goal is to make this program as accessible as possible financially. If you have questions or concerns, please reach out.
